Client: Eucolait

Agency: Savion Ray

Web Development: Olivier Degandt & Obed Parlapiano
Eucolait is the European Association of Dairy Trade, which represents
the interests of European exporters, importers and wholesalers of
dairy products. The association has over 500 member companies
and organisations and acts as a platform for discussion and meetings
for European and global dairy businesses. Eucolait’s work is focused
mainly on agricultural, food, and trade policy issues and dairy market
information.
As an experienced association founded in 1959, Eucolait needed a new
fresh and modern brand identity and website design that would reflect
their values, communicate trust, and increase their visibility.

before and after

Inspired by the vision and mission of Eucolait, I developed a
contemporary, simplistic logo that reflects the core activities and values
of the client in a unique and distinctive way. The fluid shape of the
symbol represents the viscosity and liquidity of dairy, while the yellow
colour is associated with most dairy products. The logo also features
a swirl, which is symbolic of movement. All these elements unite in a
subtle star shape to indicate Eucolait’s strong relationship with the EU.
These core values and art direction were taken into the rest of the
deliverables, which included an array of stationery items and social
media graphics and messages.
I also worked together with the web development team in designing and building a brand new website for Eucolait that is more interactive,
easy to navigate and in line with the latest UI/UX trends, whilst
reflecting the newly created brand identity and core values. The website
features an interactive trade map that shows the import/export data for
different countries.
