Hospitable is a software tool developed for Short-Term Rental hosts and property managers. It automates day-to-day tasks such as communication with guests, task allocation for cleaning teams, sync availability calendars across Airbnb. Booking.com and VRBO, and offers a website builder for hosts to create their own direct booking website.
As Hospitable has grown into a powerful tool that eases the life of hosts across the globe, they needed a communication strategy along with a creative concept that would promote their software further.
Our team and I started by delving into the audience’s behavior, gathering key insights that this campaign could tap into (being a short term rental host has it’s pain points, many of which can be solved by investing in a tool that liberates them from tedious tasks).
Our team and I started by delving into the audience’s behavior, gathering key insights that this campaign could tap into (being a short term rental host has it’s pain points, many of which can be solved by investing in a tool that liberates them from tedious tasks).
We got our hands into brainstorming, developing a creative concept and story that could be implemented across different online channels.
Imagining different fantasy scenarios and a main character as a host, each storyline tackles different pain points of being on the short term rental industry: an introvert vampire that struggles with being friendly with guests; a dissatisfied alien that looks for a more efficient booking solution, and a tough captain pirate who needs to keep her tight-knit cleaning crew updated with all tasks.
Besides being involved in the Art and Creative direction of these videos, I also had the pleasure in creating the character design, concept art and illustrations that would later be brought to life with the magic hand of the motion designer.
We developed 3 short videos, and respective versions of 30 and 15 seconds, to be used across social media and online ads.

The launch of this digital campaign was timed along with Hospitable's presence at the VRMA event of 2022 - one of the most prestigious events for short-term and vacation rental professionals. Further marketing collaterals such as merchandise, event booth, photo props, t-shirts and even a set of exclusive themed cocktails were produced based on these stories.
